“Maritere Bellas beautiful stories of multilingualism and multiculturalism are a must have! Not only does she shine a light on the bilingual-biliterate superpower, but it allows children who translate to be seen and heard.”
Kathy Yang: Communication & Family Engagement-Natomas School District
“As an author deeply rooted in bilingual and bicultural advocacy, Maritere bridges the gap between literacy development and personal identity. Her read-aloud doesn’t just encourage reading, it invites children to see themselves in stories, to feel validated in their experiences, and to understand the importance of voice, trust, and belonging.”
